Part Time Graphic Designer - Paid Co-Cop

 

Job Description

Our company, located in Erlanger, KY is seeking a current college and/or post secondary education student for a Graphic Design & Marketing Paid Co-Op.  We are an importer of high-quality bathroom, kitchen and home products that are marketed through our two e-commerce companies offering high quality home products to consumers. 

 

JOB SCOPE

The Graphic Design Intern Candidate will be responsible for creating/acquiring new graphic assets as well as maintaining existing graphic and marketing assets. Knowledge of commonly used ecommerce software and marketing practices will also be required for this role.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acquiring graphic design and/or marketing assets from multiple sources and suppliers
  • Maintaining spreadsheets, workboards and other assets to record progress and status of products
  • Clear and consistent communication through email, video conferencing and/or other communication platforms when appropriate
  • Web page design and maintenance (Knowledge of Shopify a plus)
  • Production Work in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Accurate proofing of CGI rendered images of our products
  • Photography/Video production

 

MISC

  • Reports directly to the Lead Graphic Designer.  
  • Meet regularly with the management team to identify or ascertain problems or challenges.
  • Efficiently contribute in reaching department’s objectives and company goals through the use of established processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience and success working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. 
  • Strategic planning/thinking skills, coupled with analytical and execution skills.
  • Out-of-the-box thinker, decisive; experienced in and capable of leading change.
  • Good trouble shooting skills.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills. Detail oriented.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with suppliers and team members.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Must have functional knowledge of latest Adobe CC software
  • Current Major in Graphic Design or Related Field
  • Team player

Packer/Warehouse Associate

 

Job Description

Our company, located in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Packer/Warehouse Associate to join our team.  We are looking for an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on their feet. We prize speed and accuracy and are looking for a Packer/Warehouse Associate who takes pride in their work, follow instructions and can double-check their own work. We are an importer of high-quality bathroom, kitchen and home products that are marketed through our two e-commerce companies offering high quality home products to consumers. JOB SCOPE

 

The Packer/Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and monitor delivery trucks, containers, semi-trailers, etc.
  • Receive and track shipments
  • Load/unload merchandise in delivery trucks, containers, semi-trailers, etc. using appropriate tools
  • Document shipment arrival and departure times/dates
  • Tag and label merchandise
  • Label and stock incoming product into correct locations on racking and record locations in computer system
  • Pull, box, wrap and pack merchandise for customer orders in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Prepare all orders for shipment
  • Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
  • Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift and picker)
  • Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
  • Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing 80lbs.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Past Forklift and/or Picker Operation Certification will be considered an advantage
  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate for minimum of 2 years
  • Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs
  • Great physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • Team player
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solver
