Finish is terrible

This cute little sink is marketed as a high-end period sink, but the quality of the porcelain and finish are awful. The white porcelain is dripped all over the lower black portion and then painted over in black paint. Customer service gave me two options, one to return the sink for a refund or to simply sand down the black portion and repaint, they gave me a credit for this option, they also told me that the sink is a utility/slop sink making an attempt to excuse the finish quality. Since I love the shape of the sink I thought I’d try the repainting of the black portion, That’s when I discovered the porcelain was dripped and sagged underneath the black paint, impossible to remove! I was able to get it to look decent in the front, but you can still see the drips and sags, and the space it’s going in will hide the sides for the most part. Love the shape, love that it’s black and white, but I’m so disappointed in the quality of the finish!
