Copper Bathtubs

Copper Bathtubs

The Elegance of Copper

A copper bathtub is sure to become a standout focal point in you bathroom. It's warmth and elegance are immediately felt upon seeing it. These tubs are both strikingly beautiful and practical. Particular models feature bands, rivets, hammered detailing, design imprints and other stylistic flourishes aimed at augmenting the impact of the tub visually. The living finish of these well-constructed 16-gauge copper oval tubs patina gradually over time, giving the tub distinct characteristics.

They are available in freestanding, clawfoot and even drop-in models. We sell copper bathtubs in various styles, including double-ended roll-top, double-slipper, pedestal, slipper and even modern. Finish options include standard copper, copper with nickel-plated components and different shades of copper meant to truly enhance the look of any room.

The Patina Process

Over time copper will naturally change colors giving your bathtub its own unique color, known as a patina. This patina actually protects and preserves the metal underneath from corrosion giving it a stunning blend of light and dark tones that is different for every tub. However, you don't have to worry about your tub turning green like the Statue of Liberty. This is a result of exposure to saltwater and weather changes. In the home, the patina will give it a unique warm charm all of its own.
