Shower curtain rod for claw foot tub

I had been looking to replace the bent curtain rods that had been in our bathroom when we purchased our home. I had a tough time finding just the parts I needed rather then buying the faucet and shower assembly as a whole. I saved a lot of money by finding what I needed on the magnus site. Unfortunately I couldn’t get any of the curtain rods to fit into the shower rod wall tee that was provided in the package. All the ends fit into the ceiling tee. My options were to use the old one or buy a new one from Home Depot for $11. Just an added cost of money and time. All in all, it’s going to work for me. I would just like all the parts actually fit together.
Expected Better

It works; but for the money, I expected better quality. The shower ring is a thin gauge tubing that I could bend by hand if so inclined. The joints that screw together are so tight that I couldn't get all the screws in, because the holes would not align. Other joints that should have been snug were loose. These size mismatches made the assembly process take much longer than it should have. If I had to do it again, I would probably buy sections of stock pipe and assemble my own shower ring.
